ESTABLISHED IN 2000
Our current building has been a Mercedes and foreign car repair shop since 1960. Originally opened by Mark Tirman Sr. and run by the family until Atwood European took over the location. Andrew Atwood, the current owner, worked for Mark Jr. and his mother Mary for many years before establishing himself at the same location.
We try to continue the tradition of a family business that will even check your tire pressure and oil level for no charge if you pull up and ask like the old days at your local service station. Many of our clientele have been coming here for over 30 years or more and often drive the same cars from the 60’s and 70’s.
We pride ourselves on being one of the only Mercedes repair shops in town that specializes in the 50’s and 60’s Mercedes.
Meet the Owner: Andrew Atwood
Andrew Atwood has been a Mercedes Technician since 1986 when living in Australia. He attended Brookvale Technical College in Sydney Australia where he revived his trade certificate in Automotive Engineering.
After coming to the US in 1990 he gained numerous experience working for some of the better independent repair shops in Phoenix.
In 2000 an opportunity came for him to start his own business after seeing how customers were being as a number and not a respected and valuable client .
Andrew runs the business as a Family affair and the business is built solely on referrals which is a testament to his success and twelve years in business.
